Braidmead House Hotel - Irvine (North Ayrshire)

Mattress comfort leaves something to be desired. The breakfast confusion might raise expectations that aren't met, especially if you're looking for a straightforward inclusion. You've got to figure that out beforehand to avoid disappointment. A little more noise control would be nice, especially from the lounge area during peak times.

We were offered an exceptional service.

In a very central location with restaurants and golf courses a short walk to the hotel.

Beds were hard.

The room was spacious, though the mattress wasn't the most comfortable.

Everything was good, attentive staff, unbeatable location so close to town centre, and beaches. My room was both airy and cosy with beautifully appointed bathroom, tea, a walk-in wardrobe. The breakfast was enormous, overall food was appetising;)))

The honesty bar is such a lekker touch, and the brekkie options are great! Plus, the room was super clean and spacious.

Regret not trying the breakfast, now I feel I missed out!

Howay, we had a canny time! The breakfast was absolutely champ—freshly cooked, set us up for the day proper! Just wish there were more eateries nearby for an easy walk, but still a crackin' stay overall!

Braidmead house is a beautifully restored guest house that's super clean and well-appointed. It's just a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was the best part, freshly cooked and delicious. The owner, james.

The location is perfect for exploring farther afield, and the cleanliness of the ensuite was excellent. Breakfast stands out, especially the Scottish offerings, complemented by delicious chocolate croissants. The owners create a cute atmosphere, although the room could benefit from a pillow upgrade. Noise from the lounge was a minor distraction, and while parking is ample, finding a space during peak hours may take extra time.

The huge shower and spacious seating area were perfect! The spa facilities were also excellent. Definitely.

The beautiful room had every little detail covered, from comfy bedding to an honesty bar in the lounge. I felt right at home from day one! Loved the charming decor too.

Braidmead House is a charming place with elegant bedrooms that are immaculate and furnished to a high standard. The breakfasts are superb, freshly made to order, and the Honesty Bar is a lovely touch. The owners were cute.

Some pillows could use replacing.

We liked our 1-night stay. Super friendly staff that amazed us.- The room was airy, with nice decor and an ironing set and a couch for our comfort.- The whole experience was excellent from start to finish.
